La Cocina's micro-entrepreneurs are teaming up with some of SF's most notable chefs for a one-day feeding frenzy. We're closing the street. We're pouring street food inspired cocktails in the beer & spirit garden. We're serving casual, affordable food from every corner of the globe. Come eat with us. This is food for all.

But wait, there's more! We'll also have street musicians, fun for kids and a street food photo contest.

August 22, 11 am to 7 pm, Folsom St. between 25th and 26th Streets, in front of La Cocina. Entry is free, and vendors will accept cash for food, but use these special passport tickets for ease and savings!

Now, for the details:

Food will cost between $3 (small bites) and $8 (bigger bites). Beverages (non-alcoholic) will be $3.

Your passport will get you an amazingly adorable booklet/souvenir and tickets with a cash value. Passports can be split between groups of people, if you like, or you can just keep it alllllllll for yourself.

Unfortunately, this isn't like an airport VIP line, you'll still have to wait. But, hopefully, your passport will be so cute that the waiting will be easier. Plus, you won't have to worry about finding cash! :)
