Free Estuary and Economics Tour with the South Street Seaport Museum
City of Water Day New York, NY
Sail on the beautiful and historic Pioneer as we discover beaver pelts to break bulk cargo. New York Harbor has always been a profitable commercial pathway within a valuable natural environment. As we sail past shorefront features such as parks, container operations and industrial facilities, learn about current plans for dredging and for restoration, and consider the compromises necessary to balance our ecosystem and our economy.
