Houston Women's Festival
The Houston Women's Festival is a celebration of women, music, art, culture and community.
When/Where: Saturday, October 24, 2009 Noon until 10:00 PM at Jones Plaza in the theatrical district in downtown Houston, Texas. Rain Or Shine. But it's October where the breezes are cool and the sky is blue.
The daylong event features leading independent women musicians as well as a market place for artisan and crafts vendors. There is also plenty of good food and beverage at the event.
The Athena Art Project that produces the festivalis a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that supports the artistic endeavors of women.
