Adapted by Neil Simon, this collection of Anton Chekhov sketches features affectionate portraits and droll stories in which the humor is infectious and the fun unending. On Broadway, the show was nominated for four Tonys, including two that were won by its leading performers: Best Featured Actor in a Play (Rene Auberjonois) and Best Featured Actress in a Play (Frances Sternhagen). For the Stage Company, the show will be directed by Lee Bracket.
