The CREATION Project Showcase represents the breadth and excellence of local contemporary performing arts. The showcase is the culmination of this year-long new works and professional development program created by the CD Forum for African-American performing artists based in King County. A local panel selected four participants representing a range of artistic performing arts disciplines. Each participant received a $1,000 stipend and participated in professional development seminars and peer discussions that began in June 2009.
