Rick Steves - Travel as a Political Act
Town Hall Seattle, WA
General Admission $20, Sponsor Students for an additional $20 each
Come join us for a unique evening of entertainment! We are going on a quick global spin! The tour guide for the evening is Rick Steves. Music will be provided by the amazing Gina Sala. (http://ginasala.com/) Rick believes that travel helps challenge the truths we were raised to think were self-evident and god-given. Come hear Rick address how travel expands our world view and shapes how we can address the challenges confronting our nation politically. The tour agent for the event is Voices [Education Project]. Like Rick, Voices believes that opportunities to meet others and share their stories are one of the ways to lessen conflict and commit to constructive dialogue in a troubled world.
Become a sponsor - buy extra tickets for students and teacher to attend. Sponsors get preferred seating, Sponsor recognition, signed copy of Rick's book, all by showing amazing support for Voices!
