A Shadow of a Man speaks to the taboo of suicide which resides deep within our sub-conscious - our shadow. A Shadow of a Man is an amazing, thought provoking look into a world that many deny exists, but all have contemplated, endured or transcended.

About E Company
E Company Presents, founded by Jack Elliott in August 2010, strives to provoke social awareness and change through theatrical productions.
Each play produced by the E Company intends to address issues that ranging in scope from local issues to global transformation; each production is paired with a philanthropy whose work relates to the social themes of the play. By associating each production with a philanthropic organization, we are able to respond directly to the people actually affected by the issues addressed in the play. A portion of the proceeds from each play produced is donated to the designated philanthropy. E Company provides the audiences with information on the philanthropy both by introducing their mission and information about them in the play's program.
The goal of E Company is to provide thought provoking productions that make our audiences aware of social injustices, insights into taboo subject matters, and at the same time offer a call to action, by providing our audiences with an opportunity to be involved with a philanthropy which will bring light to those adversely affected or to support those already making a difference in the world.
Over the past 4 years, E Company has produced the revivals of ten plays. We have also fostered the development of 5 new plays which have received one or more staged readings. In 2012, E Company partnered with the Consciousness in the Arts program at Heart and Soul Center of Light to produce the first African American Production of Doubt, A Parable. We have dedicated the foreseeable future to the development of new plays and productions that both inspire and provoke a call to action.
Our 2014 Season E Company Presents celebrates our third world premiere of a new work entitled: A Shadow of a Man by Jack Elliott. This follows the premier of Elliott's play You Must Tell, in 2010 and Cheyenne Lu's At the Playground in 2011. E Company is still basking in the success of At the Playground being produced and presented at the Shanghai International Experimental Theatre Festival in 2011. E Company proudly represented the United States with 4 sold out performances and much acclaim.
