Description
The AFrican ConeXion Project 09 presents the original bilingual musical, Callejn, June 3rd-14th with invited artists from Teatro Del Milenio of Peru. Directed by Rose Cano and Jacqueline Moscou. Choreography by Luis Sandoval and Monica Rojas. Original music by Grammy-award winning composer Roberto Arguedas.  Musical Director, Paul Thomas

The AFrican ConeXion Project seeks to unite Latino, African and African American communities through theatre, dance and music.

The AFrican ConeXion Project, born in 2001, is a program of North-South ConeXions. North-South ConeXions is an independent cultural exchange program between artists of The Americas (North, Central and South). Founded in 1994 in Lima, Peru by Rose Cano.  North-South ConeXions seeks to promote understanding between communities by overcoming the English-Spanish language barrier.

The AFrican ConeXion Project is in partnership between North South ConeXions and Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center since 2004.
