| Description |
On hiatus for a year and now back for the 24th year, Sausalito's colorful floating homes community will open its doors to visitors. The self-guided tour takes visitors inside about 15 of the most unique homes in the world. Docents will also be onboard to describe the unique waterfront lifestyle and answer questions.

The tour begins at the Kappas Marina Green, on Gate 6 Road at the northern end of Sausalito, just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Parking is avaliable in the Gateway Center across the freeway, with a shuttle bus provided. Food and soft drinks will be for sale on the Kappas green. Local musical groups will perform throughout the day.
