Enric Sifa in Concert with Brian Moss and Anna Maria Pasley
Columbia City Theater Seattle, WA
Dano and Jennifer Jukanovich and Carter and Kerry Crockett are moving to Rwanda this summer to start Karisimbi Business Partners - working alongside Rwandan entrepreneurs in their quest to build companies, communities and the country. The money raised at the concert will help underwrite their moving costs to Rwanda so they can begin working with Rwandan entrepreneurs immediately, thus creating jobs for thousands who live on $1-2 a day.
Rwandan born Eric Nshimiyumuremyi (now Enric Sifa) was orphaned by the tragic events of the 1994 genocide and its devastating impact to his country. At age nine he began to live on the streets, trying to find any way to survive. He struggled daily to get food and shelter, suffering from loneliness, abuse and hunger. His story is one of hope and redemption. We are honored to have him with us.
Brian Moss and Anna Maria Pasley are local musicians with deep connections to jazz and gospel music. We are delighted to have their jazz band perform with Enric Sifa.
Dessert and Coffee will be available, along with a cash bar.
Note: Columbia City Theater is adjacent to Tutta Bella Restaurant in Columbia City, Seattle. Street Parking is limited, but you can use the Bank of America parking just two blocks north of the venue.
