The Natural Step to Resilient Community Development

Economist, author and co-founder of Sweden's first "ecomunicipality," Torbjörn Lahti is back in Wisconsin to share a global perspective on successes and challenges in pursuing sustainable community development. He will assist us in discovering ways to invigorate and "sustain" ongoing community and economic development initiatives and tackle social equity challenges using The Natural Step (TNS).
This 6 hour workshop is targeted to local officials, community organizers and planners, sustainable community practitioners, businesses and nonprofit organizations. By attending, you will learn skills to work more effectively across silos to achieve sustainable solutions around complex community issues. Engage in hands-on exercises around high capacity transit and equitable access to opportunities applying TNS process.
