for a benefit to support construction of an environmental science laboratory at PS333 and to develop health and wellness programs throughout NYC public schools.
THE GREENHOUSE PROJECT
The Rooftop Learning Laboratory will be a pilot facility for the hands-on learning of science concepts, including environmental sustainability, food production and nutrition. The lab will use hydroponic greenhouse technology, powered by renewable energy, to grow food in the heart of the city.

Wellness in the Schools (WITS) is a 501(c)3 grass roots organization dedicated to improving the environmental health, nutrition and fitness of children in NYC public schools. Through three major programs: Chef in Residence, Lunch Break Sports and Wellness Cafe, WITS directly impacts over 12,000 NYC public school students.
