The Dirty Energy / Clean Solutions: Climate Conference 2014 will educate and connect grassroots activists with leaders in the various areas of climate work. It will bring together the many interested parties to cross-pollinate and share ideas, victories and challenges.

Friday (San Francisco): 7:00pm major speaking event: Visions of a Clean Energy Future

Professor Mark Jacobson has appeared on national TV (David Letterman) with his science-based plans to convert America's energy infrastructure to 100% solar and wind by 2050. Other speakers will be announced.

Saturday (East Bay): Main conference with expert panels on various topics:

Refineries / Crude Transport

Fracking

Clean Energy

The basics

The political situation

Strategies for moving forward

NOTE: SAT. LUNCH IS PROVIDED

Sunday (East Bay): Breakout sessions to connect with leaders

Slated topics include:
Crude by Rail, Community Resilience, Legislative Efforts, Regulatory, Initiatives-local and statewide, Refineries, Community Choice, Direct Action, and others

Connect with the broader climate movement, learn, share your passion, your message and your experience, and learn from others.
