Event
AWS Napa March 2014
"There's no majestic estate. No grapevines out back. And, instead of pests, these winery dogs chase street traffic and sidewalk skateboards.
Urban vinting may seem like a new or unusual concept, but it is as central to the history and success of the California wine industry as the Mission grape or the buttery chardonnay, from the pre-Prohibition commercial cellars in San Francisco to the first zinfandel Kent Rosenblum made on the docks of Alameda." - Why an urban winery in the greater Bay Area? - By Jessica Yadegaran Mercurynews.com
Join in and learn more about the old is new trend of urban winemaking. We will be hosted by one of Napa Valley's most exciting new hot spots making wine in the city of Napa, St Clair Brown Winery. There will be a few special guests and some interesting wines being made in interesting places.
Shauna Rosenblum of Rock Wall Wine Company in Alameda will be joining us to discuss urban wineries and taste some of her delicious wines. We will also have wines from urban wineries in Oregon, Colorado, and of course more from California.
This is not the event to miss. We look forward to seeing you all. Cheers!
