Hudson Theatre Works, New Jersey's newest Equity theatre company will follow up last season's successful production of Of Mice and Men and begin its second season with Dale Wasserman's adaptation of Ken Kesey's classic tale of freedom and compassion, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is based on the
popular 1960s novel by author Ken Kesey. First produced on Broadway, it was later made into an Academy-award-winning movie starring Jack Nicholson.

In One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Kesey looks at the problems faced by people living in modern society and tells their stories with great pathos. Audiences meet characters who are patients in a psychiatric hospital, struggling to stare down life's challenges. A talented cast of 17 professional actors brings their stories to life with incredible poignancy and humor.

Hudson Theatre Works' production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, directed by the company's Artistic Director, Frank Licato, promises to be an outstanding and memorable night of theater.
