Eating My Garbage
In an hour-long comedy that grapples with politics, consumer culture, self-inflicted dental woes, and a thousand varieties of personal failure, monologist David Mogolov is back to answer the questions we didn't realize were pressing.
Dumbfounded by a call from a political pollster who sounds suspiciously like Laura Linney, David searches himself for a rational reason to believe the nation isn't utterly doomed. When he can't quite think of one, he turns to irrational reasons. That's when his search gets more promising.
SPECIAL GUESTS: Each night, David is joined by a guest storyteller who will tell their own tale of irrational behavior. 6/12: Lori Strauss - Host of The Moth StorySLAMs (Boston), Writer, Comedian, Improviser 6/13: Rachel Klein - Comedian, Fine Line Comedy, McSweeney's 6/14: Katie Leeman - Creative Marketer, Business Owner, Improviser 6/19: Steve Kleinedler - American Heritage Dictionary lexicographer, Director, Improv Coach 6/20: Claire Ayoub - Comedy writer, Amy Poehler's Smart Girls, In Too Steep Podcast, Upright Citizens Brigade
