We all use Google, Yahoo, and Bing, but who knows how they really work? With close to 6 billion queries a day, that's a little more than 70,000 questions per second! How do search engines process through all the information on the Internet and find the information we're requesting? Are there ways we can phrase our questions for better results? And how do the search engines seem to predict our questions even as we type them? This SciJam will explore the "life of a query" from the beginning question to final result.
