Queens New Music Festival: Face The Music
Teen New Music Riot! Face the Music and the Special Music School High School join forces for 90 minutes of new music written and performed by the under18 crowd. Like the iPod of your average teen, this show runs the gamut from brainiac classical (Daniel Ma's "Music of the Presidents") to postminimalist virtuosity (Owen Carter's "Sequester") to harddriving rock and roll (Henry Nelson Experiment's "Poisoned Bordeaux").
