He Woke Up In A Strange Place Called Home And Although Looking For Bed He Kept Finding Death Instead
142 Cambridge Street St Paul, MN
An interdisciplinary traveling performance inspired by two classics -- Georg Buchner's "Woyzeck" and the "Odyssey" of Homer -- Charles Campbell's new work explores the legacy of global violence and a desire to escape history.
In this fresh look at our new America, a familiar figure wakes up to an unfamiliar life. Trying to assemble pieces of a past he doesn't recognize, he gropes through the domestic life of a dark neighborhood -- in and out of homes, garages, sidewalks and streets -- searching for home.
