Will there be rocking improvised songs? YES! Will there be improvised live music to rock your world? YES! Is there any way that you can pass this up? NO! (You may even use more exclamation points than I just did when you tell all your friends about it...)

"Big D and the Closers" takes your suggestion and turns it into a fully improvised musical Harold! This dynamic ensemble has taken both their love of New York musical theater and Chicago style long-form improvisation and married them into a musical spectacle that is not to be missed. After a brief Del Close style opening the performers launch into a variety of improvised scenes and songs exploring that audience given suggestion. The result is both an Off-Broadway musical and an underground comedy show that will have your heart skipping first, second, and third beats!

Big D has been all over the NYC improv scene, having been featured in the Magnet's New York Musical Improv Festival, The NYC Cabaret Festival, and main-stage at The Peoples Improv Theater. There's even a drink named after them at Walters Bar on 8th ave!
