Wild Money: Financial Planning for Creative Minds
This workshop is for artists and craftspeople serious about making a living from creative work. Beyond just paying for expenses, do you have a plan for savings, retirement or emergencies? As a freelancer or business owner, you need creative tools for understanding money and your relationship to it, so you can manage your finances and have peace of mind. In this workshop, you will learn to use an innovative intentional spending tool that will help you to get real about your financial needs while also making space for dreaming big. You will understand the difference between your "squeak-by" number and having enough, and that you are not missing "the money gene." (There is no money gene!) Luna's language and visuals will help you get started improving your relationship with money.

Author and speaker Luna Jaffee is also a certified financial planner who owns Lunaria Financial, Ltd., an innovative financial planning firm in Portland, OR. Luna's critically acclaimed book, Wild Money: A Visual Field Guide to Financial Wisdom, was released in 2013. Drawing from her experiences as a professional artist, a psychotherapist, and an entrepreneur, Luna deeply understands the challenges faced by creatives in running their businesses and managing their money.

Pike Place Market is pleased to present this workshop with Luna Jaffee to local artists and craftspeople for the discounted rate of $50 (a $100 value). Professional training and development is just one way we support the artists and craftspeople who sell daily in the historic Pike Place Market.
