Lecoq Approach to Theatre Creation
with Paola Coletto-Kaplan
This lecture will serve as an introduction to actors, dancers, playwrights, directors, designers and teachers to the 3-year journey French theatre pedagogue and master teacher Jacques Lecoq developed over a 45-year period at his school cole Internationale de Thâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Coletto-Kaplan studied the two-year programme with Lecoq and return 5 years later for the third-year masters pedagogical programme.
Paola is one of 40 students in the schools 50-year history to have been certified as a pedagogical specialist under Lecoqs direction.
