Red Hook Wines will soon bottle their first vintages made from hand-picked North Fork grapes grown on Macari's, Jamesport's and Ackerly Pond's vineyards. With the current passion for local food and Brooklyn products, they're sure to be the it-girl on wine menus this summer.

Taste straight from the barrel before they're bottled so you can say, "I knew these wines way back when..." We'll taste Merlot, Cabnernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurtraminer, Viognier and Riesling, for a total of three different red varietals and five white varietals, with some side-by-side tastings of varietals that have been treated and aged differently post-harvest. All paired with local cheese from Saxelby Cheese.

It's not just an exclusive early taste of some exciting new wines, it's a crib sheet for your next cocktail party.

Note: Please note, RSVPs canceled less than 48 hours in advance will not be refunded. Also, all proceeds benefit brooklynbased.net for producing the event, not Red Hook Winery, which has generously volunteered their time and wines.
