Jon McDaniel vs. The World

At this playful wine pairing event, The Gage's Executive Chef Peter Coenen and Henri's Executive Chef Christopher Gawronski will prepare a collaborative, four-course dinner showcasing their beloved rustic American and French-inspired cuisine, respectively. Wine Director Jon McDaniel will lead the evening's program, expertly matching two wines per course a French varietal as well as an American. Each wine will be served blindly, allowing guests to expand their palates without knowledge of the wine they are sampling. Diners will vote on their favorite wine after each course, and at night's end, all will be revealed and the supreme sip named.
Jon McDaniel vs. the World is the first in a series of blind wine tasting dinners to be held by McDaniel at The Gage and Henri in 2014. With global selections at each event, he hopes to challenge wine lovers' pairing perceptions and introduce them to new tastes.

This inaugural event takes place in The Gage's intimate private dining room. Doors open at 7:00pm for the reception, followed by a seated dinner at 7:30pm. Cost is $80 per person, including tax and gratuity. Reservations for Jon McDaniel vs. the World are required. Space is limited.
