A survey of the vast diversity of culture to be found in this one fascinating country. Breakneck, ebullient Bollywood and Bhangra dances from Apna Bhangra Crew; beguiling classical dances from Subhashini Santhanam; and the astonishing Black Sufis of Gujarat, Sidi Goma.
Note: Late seating is not guaranteed. There are no assigned seats, Giant Magnet utilizes festival seating; all Giant Magnet attractions are wheelchair accessible. And now the fine print: No refunds or exchanges, performances are subject to change. Please honor the performer's age recommendations. All persons 2 or older must have a ticket; parents with infants and toddlers will be seated near theater entrances for easy exit (no readmission) should the child become restless or noisy. School groups will be seated first, thank-you for your patience. One of two World Samplers playing at Giant Magnet on Thursday; The Western Hemisphere Sampler is at noon. Friday Samplers are The World of Laughter and The Eastern Hemisphere.
