The Good Life: with Nina Planck, author of 'Real Food for Mother & Baby'
Palace Ballroom Seattle, WA
The Good Life: books for better living
Set in Tom Douglas' fabulous Palace Ballroom, The Good Life events are highlighted by an onstage conversation and interview with the author, led by Warren Etheredge of The Warren Report, followed by a lively audience question and answer period. Appetizers and a copy of the featured book are included for each attendee. A cash bar is available, and the evening ends with a Theo Chocolate confection.
Nina Planck, author of 'Real Food for Mother and Baby', is an expert on local food and the force behind New York Citys legendary Greenmarkets. She transformed the way we view traditional foods in her book, Real Food. When she got pregnant she found the dietary advice confusing, misleading and full of myths; so she set out to find what is actually true about feeding a pregnant mother and new baby in the most healthy and delicious way.
This amazing new series, The Good Life, has been created by Kim Ricketts/Book Events and The Warren Report, and is supported by sponsorship from Bastyr University, Tom Douglas Restaurants, Theo Chocolate, Conscious Choice/Seattle and Lush Life Floral.
Note: Ticket price of $25 per person includes appetizers and a copy of the featured book. A cash bar is available during the evening.
