On Wednesday, March 18th, Explore Mexico's tradition of cooking with tropical fruits! Savor salsas and moles made from avocados, guavas, mangos and tamarind. Dishes such as chiles stuffed with plantains, guava mole, purslane and pineapple salad, antojitos spiked with figs and chipotle. Also delicious "Cocteles" with fruits such as passion fruit and pomegranate. All served at La Palapa with co-chefs owners Barbara Sibley and Margaritte Malfy. A presentation about the fruits will be given by Barbara Sibley, Brona Cosgrave will educate us about Mexico's most famous fruit -- the avocado!
