MYSTIC COFFEE Private Screening and Chat
Mystic Coffee is about finding your authentic self and taking action to step up your life in a number of meaningful ways. It's also about a sexy superhero barista with a kick ass magic ring," says writer, director and producer Jeff Leisawitz.
The 11 minute short film Mystic Coffee debuted in early January on GaiamTv.com, the video-on-demand service by the world leader in 'Conscious Media.'
Leisawitz spent tons of time in coffee shops guzzling lattes and people watching. From his hyper-caffeinated perspective he realized that a barista is a sober version of a bartender, a best friend and/ or a therapist. With his background as a registered counselor and life coach, Leisawitz had an idea for a screenplay.
With the help of a magical ring and some otherworldly superpowers, the troubled barista in Mystic Coffee becomes enlightened and begins spouting sage advice to her customers - The neurotic woman. The ungrateful hipster. The out-of-love couple. The mildly depressive, over-eating, video game addicted nerd.
A premier screening and meet and greet with the director and star, and an inspiring talk with internationally known life coach,educator and spiritual writer Richard Seaman, will be held at Seattle Life Coach Training, 650 S. Orcas St. Suite R203, Seattle, WA 98108, on February 27 at 7:20pm. Tickets available here.
