Premiere production of "A Life Beyond Doubt"
Tomorrow's Eve Theatre brings to the stage the premiere performance of "A Life Beyond Doubt", an intergenerational play which explores the themes of life, loss, and the power of memory, as six characters, ranging in age from 14 to 70 interact with humour and compassion. Featured in the stellar cast are Janna Erichsen, Shel Goldstein, Reva Lawry, Alan Lee, Michael Man and Mishka Thébaud. Set and Costume Design are by Kendra Kerpenning, Assistant Production Design/Lighting Design is Edward Cortejos, Stage Manager is Dana Paul.
"A Life Beyond Doubt" began life as a one-act play called "Connections" in the Aurora Theatre's Playwrights of Spring Festival, but - as the playwright explains - the characters refused to leave the stage. Several readings and workshops later, this exciting new production comes to life, under the guidance of dramaturg/director lindi g. papoff.
Sterling Studio Theatre, at 163 Sterling Road, Unit 5, in Toronto, is the venue - an intimate theatre that in a short time has become one of the premiere locations in Toronto for theatre of wide-ranging appeal. Sterling Road is a north-bound street, just west of the spot where Dundas and College meet. There is free parking on the street. By TTC the best option is to take the Dundas street car to Sterling Road, and walk north past the Nestle chocolate factory. The theatre is located on the north side of the building, down a short alleyway, past the courtyard.
