The Slow Food Seafood Salon will draw public attention to the increasingly urgent issues facing seafood resources, and address how consumers and culinary professionals alike can make choices that sustain the biodiversity and culinary treasures to be found in our local waters.
Part 1: Panel Discussion at the San Francisco Ferry Building - some of the region's foremost experts on sustainable fishing practices will discuss the issues. You will savor a selection of seafood creations from Hayes Street Grill, Seaweed Cafe, and Barndiva Restaurant, with wines from Organic Vintners. Panel discussion only - $45
Part 2: Sustainable Seafood Feast at Hayes Street Grill - the Grill's chefs, led by Patricia Unterman and Rob Zaborny, will present a local, sustainable feast paired with wines from Organic Vintners. Dinner only - $130
