The company returns to Triskelion Arts to premiere 3 new works with a cast of characters that are equal parts glee and tragedy. Developed through an arsenal of choreographic methods and improvisational techniques, Schmidt's work celebrates what is innately human about us all. This season, dancers from New York City and Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, AZ) will share the stage to present tightly interwoven choreography and highly physical movement, with the subtle gestures and humor that makes Schmidt's work heartbreaking and hysterical.
This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
