Distilled: a PWNW Fundraiser!
NOTE: Due to weather, Distilled has been postponed to Saturday Feb. 15, rather than Feb. 8!
Distilled is an evening of performance distilled to its essence: 12 micro-works performed by some of our best friends in order to raise funds for PWNW's Alembic Artist Program. We are also celebrating some new lights, chairs & other equipment courtesy of the Meyer Memorial Trust. In response to prompts drawn from the studio diary kept by the 2013 Alembic Resident Artists at PWNW (Lucy Yim and Emily Stone), the artists below will donate a two-to-six-minute dance, performance, work of video, poetry or hybrid form. In keeping with the theme, there will be distilled spirits as well as other refreshments, plus a raffle and silent auction.
Prizes and auction items include a TBA:14 Flex Pass, White Bird Dance performances, graphic design services by Noelle Stiles, yoga classes, and a private party for up to 10 people at Eastside Distilling.
