ART
In this witty and ironically funny satire about the art world, Serge has bought a modern painting for a huge sum. His friend Marc cannot understand how his friend could want such a work. Their friend Yvan is on the fence. Can this vigorous debate destroy long-time relationships? Featuring Santa Barbara actors Ed Giron and Jerry Oshinsky, and directed by Santa Barbara City College Theatre Group Co-Chair Katie Laris. Ed Giron recently appeared in Freud's Last Session as Freud, Nixon in Frost/Nixon (Indy Award), "Antigone" through a grant from SBCC, and in LA in Heartbreak House (LA Drama Critic's Circle Award Nomination for Best Play); Jerry Oshinsky directed Frost/Nixon and Vagina Monologues, and recently appeared in New Jerusalem and The Exonerated; and Katie's most recent efforts were Becky's New Car and Love Project at SBCC. Performance dates are February 15 at 8pm and February 16 at 2pm. Tickets are $20. Tickets also will be sold at the Gallery starting 90 minutes before each performance.
