Stereoscopic Garden Party
Cocktail party and stereoscopic slide show of backyard Brooklyn in full summer. Greg Dinkins, President of the New York Stereoscoptic Society shot 3D images of gardens featured on the Brownstone Brooklyn Garden District's 2007 & 2008 walking tours. Stops include private and community gardens in the leafy neighborhoods of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill & Prospect Heights. The event takes place in the soaring and cavernous Irondale Center, a former Sunday School and now part of the BAM LDC. All proceeds benefit the Brownstone Brooklyn Garden District's 2009 tour which will take place on June 14th. Enjoy complimentary cocktails, hors d'oevres, and live music.
