The Last Five Years
Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years tells the story of the failed marriage of Jamie and Cathy, a successful author and a failing actress, from both points of view. As Jamie moves forward in time from their first date to their inevitable divorce, Cathy moves from their divorce backwards to the first night they met. The two time lines intersect on the wedding day, making for an ironic, beautiful, and poignant story about human selfishness and the nature of love.
Starring are Chelsea Reynolds as Cathy and Matthew J. Godfrey as Jamie.
