V-Day 2009 Los Angeles is a group of community volunteers in the Los Angeles area who have come together to stage a performance of A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and a Prayer. The event will be held on April 24th and 25th, 2009 at the Mary Hill Theater (Black Box) at Azusa Pacific University. The money raised from the show provides support to non-profit organizations in Los Angeles and beyond, which provide programs to educate and prevent violence against women and girls.
