Description
The Greenacres Arts Center proudly announces it's new performing arts series "An Afternoon with the Arts."  This is a series dedicated to bringing live performances by emerging and established artists to the area in the intimate setting of the Greenacres Arts Center.  Performances will occur on Thursday and Sunday afternoons.  The cost per ticket for adults is $15.00; children, $5.00.  The schedule is:

Thursday, March 26 @ 2:30:  My Musical Friends
Krumhorn and recorder music set in the magnificent Grande Salon.  My Musical Friends is led by Wilmington College's own Elizabeth Haskins, noted composer and performer.  CD's will be available for purchase.

Thursday, April 16 @ 2:30:  Duets
What happens when you add two friends who play together weekly just for the utter enjoyment of playing?  You get Duets!  First class musicians playing in a first class space.  DuoArt Aeolian Organ or piano & flute duets played by Joanne Cavally and Teri Benjamin. 

Sunday, May 10:  Emerging Artist Coleman Itzkoff
Just a high-schooler, Coleman is making a name for himself as a cello virtuoso.  coleman will perform then have a question and answer session with the audience.  A perfect concert for children and adults alike.

Thursday, May 28:  Mystery Music Day

Sunday, August 16:  Jim McCutcheon, The Guitar Man
Jim McCutcheon has been performing to children and adults for over 30 years.  He is quite fun and very popular with young people.  Get your tickets early for this guaranteed sell-out!
