TANGO LA MELODIA returns to the Red Poppy for another original Valentine's Day spectacle, featuring new songs, new stories, and their heady mix of Tango, Gypsy Jazz, and Blues. Merging music, theatre, and performance, this performance will transport audiences into TANGOs velvet-lined world, revealing a tale of long-kept secrets, torrid trysts, and forgotten love letters.
TANGO LA MELODIA is a seven-piece ensemble featuring accordion, guitar, upright bass, piano, drums, and mesmerizing vocals. Continuing along a stream of sold-out performances, feverish followers, and intoxicating adventures, this performance will delight Valentines Day lovers and conspirators alike!
Last Valentines Day weekend, the ensembles performance of Miss Ann Petersons Broken Heart sold-out three consecutive nights at the Red Poppy. Advance tickets are available and strongly recommended for this performance. A limited number of seats will be available at the door. Sliding scale $15-25.
