Dining and Drinking Under the Stars- A Brewers Pa'ina

A special beer and food pairing dinner, "Dining and Drinking Under the Stars- A Brewer's Pa'ina", is being produced by and held at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 6 to 9pm. The dinner will set the table for the 14th annual Kona Brewers Festival to be held two days later, Saturday, March 14, 2008.

The outdoor feast will pair a diverse selection of Kona Brewing Company beers with delectable pupus, salads, sides, entrees, and desserts. Many of the dishes will feature beer as an ingredient. Hawaiian-style entertainment will round out the evening, set on the great lawn of Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort, overlooking the ocean. Tickets are $45.

The Kona Brewers Festival, presented by First Hawaiian Bank, Puna Geothermal and the Gas Company is a community fundraising event made possible by the Bill Healy Foundation that promotes the craft brewery revolution in Hawaii and encourages professional brewers and chefs to work together. The event raises funds for environmental, education, and cultural organizations.
