Imagine the beauty and whimsy of 20-foot high puppets guiding you through a special tour of Historic Green-Wood. This event, part historic tour - part live interactive theatre, has at its heart A CELEBRATION OF SPRING. This will be a rare opportunity to explore
G-Wood's natural beauty while both humans (and PUPPETS!) guide you through the countless fascinating stories and legends here.
Founded in 1838, Green-Wood's 7,000 trees, blooming cherry blossoms and winding carriage paths are a revelation. This performance, is co-produced by Green-Wood and THE PUPPETEER'S COOPERATIVE. Over the past 25 years, The Puppeteer's Cooperative,(an artist's collective of writers, actors,and educators),has staged eye-popping/outdoor pageants all across the U.S. (from Boston to San Fransicso). Employing music, theatre, visual wizardry and play - their elegant craft and mastery excites emotions of awe and delight. These performance will integrate and highlight Green-Wood's glorious landscape...so rich in beauty and history. This SPRING CELEBRATION promises to be a remarkable, one-of-a-kind "can't miss" event for all ages.

In fact, to make the cost reasonable for families, Green-Wood is offering special family discounts.
General admission cost for adults is -- $10.
For Families (TWO ADULTS AND UP TO 4 KIDS) -- $25
Note: WHEN YOU ARRIVE, look for the ticket table near the Arch. People there will check you in. Also -- This is a walking tour requiring guests to walk small hills & moderate paths.
