"Meet Me At The Fair" Exploring the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition
Come celebrate the 2009 centennial of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition with historians, educators and archivists. Innovations in health care, industry, transportation, art, architecture and infrastructure highlighted at the A-Y-P showcased Seattle as the great American gateway to the Pacific and to the future. EVENING RECEPTION, Friday, March 6th, 6 - 7:30 pm with wine and cheese and a special tour of the Frank Nowell photography exhibit hosted by Nicolette Bromberg, U.of W. Libraries Special Collections, Visual Materials Curator and Carolyn Marr, MOHAI Librarian and exhibit curator.
