Description
In his new solo show, Cagigal takes you on a journey through Time and Reflection. No flash, no frills, Now and at the Hour is an intimate and deeply personal story about growing up and becoming a "grown-up".
Not a mere series of tricks, "Now and at the Hour" weaves magic, mind reading, story telling and theatre into an intimate, interactive and altogether unnerving magical experience.  Christian Cagigal is among a new crop of illusionists and theatre artists that dares to go beyond the usual bag of tricks and bring you into a world of darkness, mystery and imagination. His work doesn't attempt to "Blow your brain" or "Freak your mind", but slowly seep into your subconscious until you have to ask the question, "This isn't real is it?"
*****
"'Now and at the Hour' is a unique and genuine theatrical experience that should not be missed" -- nytheatre.com March 2009
Comments on previous shows by Christian Cagigal:
"...emotionally affecting..." -- Jean Schiffman -- Backstage West
"...intimate spectacle..." -- Chloe Veltman-SF Weekly
"Dastardly clever. Cagigal's feats...keep his audience riveted." - Robert Avila, SF Bay Guardian
"Innovative." - Reyhan Harmanci, San Francisco Chronicle
"No mere illusionist...Cagigal is one of those rare alchemists of the imagination." - Nirmala Nataraj, SF Station
Asked who the show is geared for, Cagigal replies, "It's for believers, skeptics, those who hate magic shows, and those who hate theatre.  There is nothing inappropriate for children at all but this will not be a 'kids'' magic show."
Tickets are $15 to $25 sliding scale.  This means that you choose how much to pay within that range.  We have $15 "I need a discount" tickets; $20 "General admission" tickets; and $25 "I support the arts" tickets.  We rely upon your generosity.

Notes
There is nothing inappropriate for children at all but this will not be a kids magic show.
