Soul Food Monologues: Stories of Food and Justice
The Soul Food Monologues is a collective performance of personal stories about food and justice. This production is a part of an ongoing series of Food Monologues designed to uncover and promote the food and justice stories of women and people of color. Renowned Food Justice Activist and Urban Goddess, LaDonna Redmond, has led our Food Leaders through an incredibly courageous and soul searching process to bring out their stories of hope and struggle to share with you at a one time pre-holiday performance. Join us for this event and support the women who are living food justice in our communities! Through this opening into the lives of local leaders we are able to plunge deeply into the theme, offer different viewpoints and create an emotional and meaningful experience for both the participants and audience members alike.
