The Secret Music Salon presents: Fairouz
The Secret Music Salon cordially invites you to our second annual concert, this year celebrating the music of the iconic singer FAIROUZ on the eve of her birthday, Thursday November 21, 2013. Opening the night is Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Omnia Hegazy, performing original material with her trio. And spinning her web of sounds through the evening is DJ Ushka.
Hosting the evening is the brooklyn based Sudanese singer Alsarah, and headlining the evening is the Fairouz tribute band comprised of: Alsarah on Vocals; Haig Manoukian on Oud; Rami Elaasser on Percussion; Marandi Hottsetter on Violin; Bridget Robins on Nai; and Shelley Thomas on backing vocals.
