Workshop #1: AMPLIFY YOUR ASSETS
All levels. This workshop will lead you to discover, sharpen and magnify your unique physicality and personality in a burlesque style. Whether you are a burlesque virgin, or a professional, we'll help you pull out an EVEN bigger, bolder persona for use on stage and in life. Through a combination of movement lessons, improv exercises, writing, performance games and critiques you will learn to embody our first rule inside and out: MAKE IT BIGGER. Bring sexy costume pieces (if you have them) to use in class- ie: boa, gloves, gown, heels, bra and undies. Can be worn over dance clothes for warmth/comfort. DRESS WARM & FOR MOVEMENT BUT BRING YOUR HEELS! IT MAY BE COLD IN THE SPACE!
