The Belle of Amherst
Littleton Community Center Littleton, NH
"I'm nobody, Who are you?" William Luce's play first starred Tony Award-winning actress Julie Harris as Emily Dickinson, one of America's greatest poets. This production features Renee Bucciarelli, a critically-acclaimed New York actress from Colebrook, N.H. Perfectly set in the Victorian landmark building now known as the Littleton Community Center, the play explores Dickinson's life as an idiosyncratic genius in a 19th-century New England small town.
Note: Special Additional Performance, 7/22 in Colebrook, NH, sponsored by the Great North Woods Center for the Arts features the work of local poet and artist Viola Sutton, free to public with suggested donation benefiting the GNWCA. 7 pm at the Congregational Church. Contact GNWCA for more info at 603 237 5011.
