Modern Renaissance X 2014
Modern Renaissance X in it's 3rd season will feature the works of three New Jersey based dance companies Zaman Dance Theatre Collective (Artistic Director- Zakiya Atkinson), The Well Performance Project (Artistic Director-Dawud Jackson) and joining the annual dance series for the first time; Solo Danza (Artistic Directors- Cristen Pennello and Amanda Papa). Lauren Connolly's "Marred" will also be performed.
Act II of the evening will premiere a full length performance of Zaman Dance Theatre Collective's "Cries of Atrocity", a multi-faceted reflection of Genocide, the Holocaust, and Human Atrocity. This work will feature the collective's entire cast of dancers, actors, and vocalists.
*Students and Seniors(60+)can purchase tickets for $15.00 at the box office 1 hour before the performance with valid I.D.
One performance only. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended.
ONLINE TICKET SALES WILL END 1/11/14 AT 5:00 P.M. TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE THEATRE STARTING AT 6:00 P.M.
