Walking Tour: Walking the World War II Homefront

Seattle, WA


World War II was one of the most important events in Seattle's history, leading to dramatic change in the city's population and economy. MOHAI invites historian Brian Casserly to take you on a walking tour of some of the major sites related to the World War II experience in Seattle. Visit sites such as Victory Square, the Headquarters for the US Navy in the Northwest, and properties related to Seattle's Japanese American community.  Includes a visit to the observation desk and Smith tower! Start at Four Seasons Hotel, 411 University St.
