Not many things go better together than pizza and beer. We've teamed up with our neighbors and local brew geniuses at Revolution Brewery to bring you a menu of five of our favorite specialty creations (1 salad and 4 tasting slices) paired with five distinct Revolution brews. Included in the price of the ticket you will receive a Revolution Brewery 6oz. glass to keep after the tasting. Each course will be prefaced with an introduction from Dimo's Pizza owner, Dimitri Syrkin-Nikolau and Revolution's Brew Master. DJ Johnny Fonseca will be spinning tunes through the night.
Round One The Forager: A medley of micro greens, baby spinach, arugula and romaine tossed with red onions, cranberries, pecans, roasted red peppers, feta cheese, and grilled chicken, dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette. Bottom Up Wit: A classic and refreshing Belgian style ale brewed with organic pilsner and wheat malts from Canada. Freshly ground coriander and Curacao orange peel, along with a special Wit yeast strain, contribute wonderful orange and citrus aromas and a crisp, yet silky, mouthfeel.
Round Two King Crab Rangoon: A base of rich cream cheese and crabmeat, topped with crispy fried wontons, chopped green onions and finished off with house made sweet and sour sauce. Coup D'Etat Saison: Rev Brew's interpretation of a classic, French- style saison, naturally fermented at a higher temperature, creating a more citrus hop character and a stronger, earthier aroma of spice than most traditional saisons.
Round Three Pork Al Pastor: Spicy saddles up next to sweet in this slice topped with traditional Mexican flavors. Slow-cooked, marinated pork serenades the sweet tang of pineapple, joined by zesty avocado tomatillo salsa. Anti-Hero IPA: An American hop assault for all the ambivalent warriors who get the girl in the end. This iconic ale features a blend of four hop varieties, which creates a crisp bitterness and imparts massive floral and citrus aromas.
Round Four Black & Bleu Burger: Blackened hamburger beef sits pretty with chopped tomatoes, and caramelized onions, topped with a chunky bleu cheese sauce. Cross of Gold: A crisp golden ale with a delicate hop finish; brewed with a bit wheat malt for body and Munich and Aromatic malts for and undertone of honey-like sweetness. Lightly dry-hopped with Cascade hops for that classic American golden ale aroma.
Round Five S'mores: Toasted mini marshmallows join forces with Teddy grahams and chocolate sauce spiked with Revoltion's Mad Cow Milk Stout, all held together with a gooey mozzarella cheese crust base. No camp fire or "kumbayas" required. Deth's Tar: A Russian imperial stout aged in four different types of bourbon barrels (Old Fitzgerald, Old Forester, Elijah Craig, and Evan Williams), then blended for the resulting thick and dark brew.
