A bi-monthly series of themed storytelling nights with real people and their real stories of triumph, transformation and hope. Each program brings you 5 true stories delivered in 10 minutes or less.
Our storytellers come from all walks of life, but they all have one thing in common: a compelling story to share with you.
We think of it as a night for taking a "creative pause" from the rush of life. A place where you can unplug from everything and connect with others through the power of story.
Expect the heartwarming, the epic, the humorous, the unexpected, and the poignant. Whatever you experience, we hope you will leave with your imagination sparked and your spirit nourished in new ways.
After the stories, we will have time for informal mingling and conversation.
The Living Room was founded in 2013 with the simple premise of bringing people together around conversations, classes, experiences and salons that nurture connection, creativity, and consciousness in ourselves and with one another.
